  • Obama wants to cut taxes while giving healthcareto EVERY American. Oh and outsourcing is evil. HAHAH

“As President, he’ll cut taxes for 95% of all working families, provide
affordable health care to every American, end the tax breaks for
companies that ship our jobs overseas, and eliminate the oil we import
from the Middle East in ten years,” -Obama campaign spokesman Bill
    Burton.

Okay first of all, end tax breaks for companies that outsource.  The reason companies outsource is because it is CHEAPER to do so.  If you end tax breaks savvy companies will STILL outsource, thus you’re taxing companies who are trying to stay competitive by cutting costs.  They want to give tax breaks only to those who keep jobs in America?  Any graduate of a college level economics course knows that giving economic incentives to keeping jobs we suck at inside the U.S. can only hurt our industries. OMG.  We will get more and more and more non-competitive in relation to the rest of the world. In the end, no one will take those government tax breaks because the costs of a U.S. workforce are simply too high in comparison to going to say China, India, Romania, etc.

Okay, so like. Cut taxes for 95% of all working families, WHILE providing affordable health care to EVERY American.  Obama will cut taxes and somehow spend more than any other administration has ever done before it on health care. AND eliminate imported oil from the Middle East.  Right. And maybe he’ll stop global warming and dodo’s will unextinct.  Yeesh. I mean, I’m all for educated political commentary and I can appreciate that yes, universal health care would be nice, and a little energy independence will be nice, but shoot… there’s some funny math here.

Cut taxes, which are the only way to pay for universal health care.  Hm. Eliminate all middle eastern oil in 10 years.  Wait, why do we want to eliminate middle eastern oil?  Iran’s really the only real bad guy out there? Or so I thought?.Or that we’ll shift more than 12% of our dependence on middle eastern oil… to where… the US? Without drilling? Hah. The last time oil doubled in price, it only took a 3% blip in supply to exact that nasty toll on our pocketbooks.  So the middle east people are the bad guys right? Because any of them could cut supply and double our gas prices.  Then again, so could Venezuela.  Oh yeah they hate us too.  I just kinda don’t see this eliminating oil thing working out.  Not in this generation at least.

  • watching stuff on laptop= bleh

Okay this is just something that I don’t get.  Watching stuff on a laptop.  It sounds bad, it looks bad, and only you and maybe one other person can see it.  I just don’t have a love of looking at random stuff on YouTube or random movie trailers or downloading illegal copies of shows or movies.  Its probably just me.

Does anyone else feel the same way?  I feel like media should be packaged well, presented well, and shareable in a quality atmosphere.  It just don’t (apparently doesn’t make any sense. wow isn’t isn’t a real word either wow xanga is broken, it even thinks xanga’s not a real word. Hahahahah!

All that to say, I find it unfriendly to have a bunch of people sitting around on their respective laptops hunched over watching assorted bootlegged shows in a communal room with the sound on. I mean, nothing’s worse than hearing audio to something you can’t see because it makes no sense, yet commands your conscious attention because it’s a voice and your ear forces you to focus and process it.

  • on women being a godly sort of alluring

excerpted from Captivating, by John and Stasi Eldridge

“I am afraid that I and numerous other women have interpreted womanly purity as
‘completely ignore the man you are interested in until he proposes to you.’”

“…why then, would he propose to you?”

    King of Glory- Chris Tomlin.

Omg OWNAGE. The note on the keyboard for the exclamation marks is the G over C natural. OMG. about my limit is right around the F over C natural.  Hitting the F# and G are like. DANG. Going into falsetto.  Anyone who knows this song off the Passion CD Everything Glorious from two years past should know the pain I’m talking about… sigh.  So humbled.

    King of Glory

Lift up your gaze, be lifted up

Tell everyone how great the love

The love come down from heaven’s gate

to kiss the earth with hope and grace.

    Chorus

Who is this king of glory
    the Lord strong and mighty
Who is this king of glory
    the Lord strong and mighty…

    bridge:

    (!)             C
    There is one God
             D

    He
    is Holy

     (!)             Em
    There is one Lord

             G
